Ronnisha Stephens

Ronnisha began dancing at the age of 9 in Hawaii. When she was 15 she was introduced to the world of Hip-Hop by a Fayetteville artist. She then began to take on dance seriously and became a member of a Hip Hop company company where she traveled to conventions and workshops all over Eastern North Carolina. She then began to take classes from well known chorographers and dancers. Soon after, Ronnisha decided to expand her knowledge as a dancer and began training in other styles of dance such as tap, jazz and contemporary. Ronnisha began competing at age 16. During her competition experience, she received high score & special awards along with scholarships from American Dance Project, Evolve, and Jump. Her goal as a teacher is to create a positive environment where kids feel free to be who they are and express themselves through their love for dance.  Ronnisha has been a part of the Cumberland Dance Academy family for 15 years!
